Ned, as he’s better known, is passionate about leading people down their own transformative health pathways through guidance, training and instruction.
Ned’s journey began on a farm in Northern NSW, where he learnt at a very young age that physical exertion can shift moods as well as hay bales. As Ned’s body evolved from scrawny teenager into muscular adult, so too did his passion for healthy lifestyle choices, nutrition and personal wellness.
Ned has studied all aspects of personal wellness from resistance training methods, diets and training psychology to stress relief techniques.
Since moving to Sydney, Ned has built My Health Coach Australia into one of the Eastern Suburbs’ most respected holistic personal training services.
Ned’s greatest joy is derived from seeing clients achieve their health goals as part of their life goals. Ned believes that if you take control of your body, you take control of your mind and take back control of your life.

I was sitting on a film set a few months ago eating chicken schnitzel burger, I’d just seen myself on camera and I thought, when did I put on weight? It was embarrassing, I had to lose weight!
I was referred to Ned through a friend of mine, we sat down and ran me through a few assessments. My body fat was 27% and my strength was average, even though I’d been thrashing myself in the gym for a number of years!
Ned showed me a nutritional plan and mapped out our training program for the next 3 months. He basically did all the work and told me what to do, when to do it and how to do it, which was great because my film schedule is pretty hectic!
His ability to coach and cue on technique and form is awesome and a level above the ‘Drill Sergeant’ who barks orders that I’ve seen in other gyms.
Today I’m sitting around 15% body fat and I’m stronger than I’ve ever been – can bench press 125% of my body weight – something I’ve NEVER done before.
I’m looking forward to smashing out the next 12 weeks and seeing what else I can achieve!

I decided to take up playing golf 3 years ago when I was 18, originally as a hobby. Last year I decided to make a career out of it. I knew I started late but I was determined to at least have a shot at it. I knew the pros did weights, I had no idea why, I thought it would wreck my golf swing.
Ned educated me on the benefits of introducing weights and mobility work into the fold. We concentrated on strength, power and mobility as we had to lower my handicap from 22 and increase my drive distance from being 185m straight into the trees.
Fast forward 2 years and I’m now in the Australian College of Elite Golf. My handicap is +1 and my avg drive distance is 238m. I added 15mph to my club head speed and my strength doubled and tripled in every exercise.
The prospect of turning pro is real & only a few months away!

Having never been under squat rack before he got me from squatting 90kg to 160kg.
One of the most notable changes in myself I found was the confidence after a month of repeatedly training with Ned. I was much more aware that I could achieve good results and push myself further than what I had originally thought were my limits.

I started my training with Ned in January this 2014. He was not only supportive with the physical aspects of training, but also the emotional and mental side which in turn helped me loose 18kgs – from 78kgs (size 16) to 60kgs (size 8).
Ned kept me accountable throughout and 11 months on, I have continued to keep the weight off; but more importantly I have learnt so much about changing my lifestyle for good.
